Revamping Fire&Gas
Sector of activity: Oil & Gas.
Client: Eni Congo.
Country: Congo.

Type of project: Fire & Gas Engineering / Revamping.
Businees target:
After the Master Assessment, Eni Congo needed to recover the Fire & Gas functionalities: 1.ESD bypasses removed; 2.Instruments replaced or tuned; 3.Plot plans and cause/effect matrix updated.
GS Automation Solution:
GS Automation provide materials, engineering and operations team, in order to revamp the Fire & Gas system, with no impact on the production.
Approach:
GS Automation prepared a method of statement, where presented the project organization. After that, we performed the revamping focusing on each platform. PP and DP1 are now completed, IKALOU and IKALOU SUD are under revamping, DP2-DP3-DP4-DP5 are under procurement phase.
Electrical and Instrumentation works

Project description:
The scope of work was the engineering, procurement and construction of the Process Control System and ESD Control System modification, in order to manage the new wells.
GS Automation Solution:
Engineering phase was the most critical one for this kind of project, consisting in determination of material list and site works procedure.
GS Automation focus was to close this phase, before proceeding with the Procurement phase.
Manpower was provided by Bouygues, our Expatriate engineer performed the activities supervision and specialistic assistance.
Approach:
Propose modifications to the scope of work, in order to assure a proper construction, commissioning and wells start-up.
Well Installation works
Sector of activity: Oil & Gas.
Client: Boscongo (Saipem Congo).

Type of project: Well Engineering / Electrical and Installation Works.
Project description:
Boscongo needed an update of engineering documentation for the well 106-107-108 on IKALOU platform, after electrical and instrumentations works have been performed.
GS Automation Solution:
The solution was composed by four steps:
AS-BUILT. Engineering
Electrical and instrumentation works, delivering tools, expatriate engineers and local technicians.
Software activity, in order to integrate the new well in the SCADA system and ESD control system.
Approach:
Understand and manage customer needs, building a project organization in order to perform all activities requested within time and cost requirements.
